New Ne-Yo Gentleman's Blog!
Hello there, and much love to all y'all.
This is your gentleman about town Ne*Yo just checkin' in, seein' if all my folks are alright, and also bringing a few words of my admitted, limited wisdom. I don't know it all and I don't pretend to, but in some cases and instances I may know more than you. And what kind of gentleman would I be if I didn't share what little knowledge I've obtained on a particular topic with the people I love??
The topic is relationships: the successful, the unsuccessful and everything in between.
Now I've only been an occupant of this planet for 29 years, but in that time I've seen the sunshine and the rain. I am a man that has gone thru the many levels of what it is to be a man. From the selfishness and greed that we as a species suffer from, to the realization that the world doesn't revolve around me and I'm NOT supposed to just get my way, to the being angry at that fact, to eventually accepting it and learning that it doesn't mean that I can't be happy. Because ultimately that's what everybody wants. Be it "for life", or "only for a night", everybody wants to be happy.
I think happiness starts with figuring out which one YOU want. If it's "only for a night", don't run around getting into serious relationships, knowing all you're gonna do is cheat. If it's "for life", understand what that means and be very careful in your selection process. Gotta make sure the other person is thinking the same way you are.
In theory this should be very easy to do, in reality we lie to ourselves more than we do to other people. Being honest with YOU is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself, or another person. That honesty clears your vision. Now you know who you are, what you're into, ans where your head is at, thus making it a little easier to look for what you want.
This is a topic that'll take much time to discuss fully, and I don't have a lot of free time as you all know. So let's talk again soon. In the meantime, strat with being honest with YOU, at the very least it's a step in the right direction.

How Excited Is New Zealand right now?
I was keeping busy doing what you would call Independent things when news hit me that the sexy and sophistcated NEYO was coming to NEW ZEALAND!! No Offence but FINALLY!!! Ever since So Sick seeing you in concert has been at the top of my list, and then to top it off you just had keep releasing admazing tracks Because of you, Go on Girl, Closer, Miss Independent which made things just a lil sad for me coz everytime i heard them i said DAM i gotta see him in action. But yay your finally hitting the shores of NZ. So thanks and please feel free to do more concerts. It just sucks that the wait till your concert is a rather long time. OOOh well just keep doing what ya doing coz ant nobody can do it better then you, and id be pleased to wait. Cheers

Hey, I saw you in the las vegas airport on Saturday (August 1st). You probably dont remember me but i asked for a picture, I am not sure if i thanked you but i wanted to make sure, so thank you! :D You definitely made that one of the best days of my life. I will probably never see you again so you made that a once in a lifetime opportunity for me so thank you for that too. I know you probably get this a lot but I just wanted to let you know that you are definitely one of the greatest musicians out there today. Keep up the good work! :)
